“You are positively mad!” was the conclusion of one of our fellows as we told him what we had in mind. We started with the idea of an off-road trip to Spain and Romania in 2019, came up with some plans for Morocco and finally agreed that our bikes would not be suitable for a offroad adventure tour. (This is a part of the story other individuals – not riding a motorcycle – cannot transfer). So we had to investigate what would be suitable for trips like that. KTM350: to small tank. Restday No. 2 / Iron Butt Rides No. 1&2

Started with a good cup of filter coffee and a breakfast including muesli and cereals the Namibian owners told a bit about the lodge and the possibilities. Within two or three seconds we were persuaded to stay another night. The nights cool down to 15 degrees and made the sleep really good. Or it was caused by the two bottles of good south African wine.

The lodge could handle more than 100 visitors. Today we are the only four!
